Mary C. Winkler was
born Oct. 15, 1851. Died Feb. 27, 1904, aged 52 years, 4 months and 12 days.
She was for 34
years a member of the church, a good wife, mother and a devoted Christian. The
last years of her life were spent amid great suffering, but she never murmured,
often telling her loved ones not to grieve for her.
She was buried at
Rutherwood last Sunday evening. Her funeral was preached by the writer, a large
crowd being present to pay their tribute to her memory. May the good Lord
comfort the bereaved ones in their sad loss.
