Missie Tyler McLeod Dies, from the Nov. 7, 1924 issue of The Pilot, Vass, N.C.
Missie Tyler McLeod, a respected colored woman of Vass,
passed away at her home Wednesday after a prolonged illness. She was the wife
of John McLeod and daughter of “Uncle Ed” Tyler one of the old settlers of the
community.
