North Carolina Boys Suffered Heavily in Fighting Around St. Quentin Sept. 29-30, 1918

North Carolina Suffered Heavily

North Carolina suffered heavily in the recent fighting on the western front. Yesterday’s casualty list contained the names of a large number of North Carolinians and today’s also contains 36 names from this State.

In the fighting around St. Quentin on the 29th and 30th of September it is estimated that several thousand Americans were either killed or wounded.
