Soldiers Leave Liverpool, England, on Way Home, 1918

Liverpool, England, Nov. 23—Several thousand American soldiers sailed for home today on the liners Lapland and Minehaha. It was a stirring scene as the men marched from the railway station and local camps to the landing stage amid rousing cheers from the throngs of people along the streets.
