Pvt. J.E. Henley Killed, G.P. Bunn, P.A. Wilson Severely Wounded, 1918

From the Franklin Times, Louisburg, N.C., Dec. 13, 1918

Killed in Action

Yesterday’s casualty list contained the name of Private James E. Henley as being killed in action in France. Mr. Henley was from Franklinton and was among the last drafted men.

Severely Wounded

Telegrams have been received the past week by their parents stating that Corp. Grady P. Bunn and Mr. Perry A. Wilson had been severely wounded while engaged in battle in France on October 11th.
