Rev. Frontis Anthony
of Valle Crucis Dead
Rev. S.B. Stroup had a telephone message this morning from
Valle Crucis saying that the Rev. Frontis Anthony had died there yesterday with
flu and pneumonia. Mr. Anthony has a host of friends throughout the state who
will regret to hear of his death. He was a young man, and just beginning his
ministry, as he was only ordained last June. He then took charge of Valle
Crucis schools and has filled this difficult position well.
The funeral will be held at Lincolnton tomorrow afternoon
from his old parish church, St. Lukes.
