Corley of Fayetteville Brings Home Police Dog

New York, Feb. 11—A Belgian police dog, used by the Germans for messenger service and captured by Americans and retained as a Yankee note carrier, was brought home by Lieut. James W. Corley of Fayetteville, N.C. Lieutenant Corley arrived here on the steamer Arakan. As an aviator, Lieutanant Corley was shot down, being wounded once, and accounted, he said, for six enemy planes.
