From the Roanoke Rapids Herald, June 6, 1919. To learn about Aladdin Kit Homes, go to https://www.antiquehomestyle.com/plans/aladdin/index.htm or https://inspectapedia.com/Design/Aladdin_Kit_Houses.php. The newspaper spelled Aladdin "Alladin".

Roanoke Mills Company Erecting 52 Houses. . . Six for Number One Village the Remainder for Number Two Village

The Roanoke Mills Company have purchased 52 Alladin houses for their villages, the erection of which has already begun. A special erector of the company arrived the first of the week and soon put a force to work.

The addition of 52 houses to the village of the Roanoke Mills Company will mean a material increase in our population and add greatly to the appearance of their villages, which have recently received many improvements through the work of a gang of convicts hired by the Mill.

The houses will be completed in about 40 days provided that shipments of materials are not held up.
