Inventions in Small Arms

The War Department authorizes publication of the following information from the Chief of Ordnance:

The Small Arms Division, Ordnance Department, U.S.A., invites inventors to submit designs of semi-automatic shoulder rifles in accordance with recent specifications prepared which outline requirements such arms should possess in order to be acceptable as a service weapon. Copies of these specifications may be obtained by application to the chief of Small Arms Division, 6th and B Streets, Washington, D.C.
