Alumni Notes

J. Wilson Carrell, ’00, is principal of the Guilford Graded School.

J. Waldo Woody is spending the winter with his parents here.

Matthew Perry, ’15, is completing his medical course at the University Pennsylvania. He was the recent winner of a $450 reward for the best grades of his class through four years’ study at the university.

Herbert Howard, ’11, is a railway postal clerk on the Norfolk and Southern road between Raleigh and Charlotte.

Ed Carroll, ’18, is principal of the school at Walnut Cove. He paid a recent visit to the college and did also Clara Blair.

George Bradshaw, ’08, is principal of the school at Rich Square.

Mabel Raiford, ’08, is assistant principal of the school at Courtland, Virginia.

Ellen Raiford, ’18, is teaching Home Economics at Black Mountain.

Ernest Shore, ’14, is spending the winter at his home at East Bend.
