Don Anderson Kills Lottie Taylor, Then Himself, 1916

From the June 8, 1916, issue of The Review, High Point, N.C.

Don Anderson, who shot Lottie Taylor and then committed suicide at Durham last week, is known in High Point as well as the girl, so it is learned. Anderson and the girl lived here as man and wife. Anderson worked in a factory here. Several days ago a fellow by the name of Flowers whom Lottie Taylor had been intimate with, it is alleged, came here in search of the girl who leaving of his presence left Durham where it seems the girl joined him and where later Anderson learned the pair were. Going there and finding the girl, in a fit of jealousy the crime was committed. Some say the girl and Anderson were married.
