Alamance Asked for
$150
The Y.M.C.A. is asking that a collection be taken up in
every church in the county where services are held next Sunday in order to
raise $150, the amount to help young women who volunteered for war work at the
call of their country. Many of them are in cities out of work and far from home
and friends. The money will be used to help them till they get work or get back
to their homes and friends.
