Dr. R.H. Johnson is in Charlotte where he went to bring his family to Wilson. They will have apartments in the Colonial flats.

Miss Valentine Dance of Washington City is visiting friends in Wilson.

Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Herndon have returned from a trip to Greensboro where they visited this sister, Mrs. H.B. Cousins who is quite sick though improving to some extent we are pleased to announce.

Dr. Nobles of the State University, who delivered the Literary address at the Graded School last night and who has been the guest of Mr. Graham Woodard, left today for his home in Chapel Hill.

Mr. H.F. Walters  of Kinston is in the city today.

Mrs. W.L. Wooten will leave tomorrow morning for Asheville to attend the Grand Assembly of the Rebekas.

Mr. John C. Lamm and master Duncan left this afternoon for Williamston.

Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Braswell of Atlanta are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Boland.

Major Pace, who has been confined with the measles for several days, is able to be out again, we are pleased to note.

Miss Nellie Overman, who has been sick for several days, is at her post again, we are pleased to note.
Judge George W. Connor is home for the week end from Bertie court.

Mrs. J.W. Shealey and Miss Priscilla Caldwell have returned from Warsaw where they attended the funeral of their brother, Mr. J.W. Caldwell, which occurred Wednesday afternoon.

The Commonwealth Club will give its regular monthly dance one night next week.

The regular meeting of the John W. Dunham chapter of the U.D.C. will be held Monday afternoon at 4:30 in the Y.M.C.A. rooms.
