Small Boy Injured by
Auto
Hady Jolly has returned from Gaffney, S.C., where he went to
visit relatives. He was accompanied to South Carolina by his small son, Wm.
Robert, who met with a serious accident last Friday. While crossing a street in
Gaffney he was knocked down by an automobile. He fell with his head directly in
front of a front wheel of the car and was dragged for some distance along the
graveled street with his head against the wheel. He was badly bruised and
lacerated. Most of the flesh was torn from his skull.
The injured child was
taken at once to a Gaffney hospital and at last reports hope was entertained
for his recovery.
