Wife Sues Commissioner of Agriculture for Support Pending Divorce

Raleigh, Sept. 12—Social and political circles are agog today over the civil action that has been started in the superior court by Mrs. Sallie Clark Graham against her husband, Major W.A. Graham, state commissioner of agriculture, for support while they are separated.

It is understood that Mrs. Graham is asking for an allowance of $100 per month pending the hearing of a divorce suit which is filed.

Major Graham and his wife have been separated for three weeks, during which time he has been staying in a hotel here. The family troubles had not become public although it was known by friends that the two had separated.
