Big Lumber Company to
Rebuild Its Mill
Asheville, March 2—Plans for rebuilding the band saw mill
and machine shop which were destroyed by fire at Sunburst Saturday night in
Haywood county are now under way and it is certain the Suncrest Lumber Company,
which operates a large power plant and planning mill at Sunburst in addition to
the band mills which were destroyed, will rebuild at an expense of over
$200,000. The Fire damage is estimated at $200,000.
