Influenza Continues to Spread

The influenza conditions in and around Boone continues unimproved, in fact, there are by far more cases now than at any one time since the disease first made its appearance here. Tuesday evening the county nurse, who is still at the school, told The Democrat that she had under here care in Lovill Home 30 patients who were unable to go to the dining room for their meals.

The family of Mr. Ed. Culler living near the school are all down with the contagion.

There is one case at the home of Mr. D.J. Cottrell.

Mr. Joe C. Cook and family are all down.

Three cases are at the home of Dr. Jones.

Three more are at the home of Mr. Oscar Hardin.

Many other cases are reported in the suburbs of the town.

All patients heretofore reported are well or improving, and during the entire rage of the epidemic not a single death has occurred in the entire community, so far, our physicians and nurses having the disease so well in hand.
