Ann Yount of Conover Fell and Broke Hip, Jan. 3, 1921

Mrs. Ann Yount of Conover fell and broke her hip when a plan on which she was standing slipped at the home of Mr. E.M. Yoder’s last Tuesday afternoon. The car had caught in the mud and Mr. Yoder had succeeded in righting it when the accident occurred. Mrs. Yount was on a visit to her half-brother, Mr. Yoder. Mrs. Yount is being cared for at the residence of her sister, Mrs. D.H. Ramsaur, and probably will be kept to her bed for several weeks. (From the Hickory Daily Record, Monday evening, Jan. 3, 1921)
