Jesse Johnson Receives $100, Furniture, Provisions from Friends Following Fire, Jan. 11, 1921

Friends of Jesse M. Johnson, who was a heavy loser from the fire which destroyed the old Godwin place last week, have presented him with a purse of more than $100, a quantity of new furniture and a lot of provisions. P.K. Honeycutt, E.M. Jeffreys, and A.F. Pope performed the committees which presented the presents to Mr. Johnson.
