Robert Fleming, 50, of Milton Died in Hotel Room in Danville, Va., of Alcoholism, Feb. 5, 1921

Danville, Va., Feb. 5—Robert Fleming, 50, traveling salesman of Milton, N.C., was found dead in his room at a local hotel last afternoon by a maid. He had apparently been dead about three hours when found. Fleming had been in Danville for several days and had been under treatment by a local physician, who said death was due to alcoholism. The doctor saw him lasdt night at 9 o’clock apparently improving after have been in a serious condition. In the room was found a quantity of corn whiskey of inferior quality. He leaves a wife and a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Callan, both of Richmond. The remains will be taken to Milton for burial.
