Five Young Men Injured When Touring Car Flips on Curve, May 9, 1921

Five Are Injured in Automobile Mishap

Gastonia, May 9—While speeding Sunday night on the Clover highway, five young men of Rock Hill were seriously hurt when their big touring car overturned at a sudden curve, three of the occupants being at a local hospital badly broken up. The car was a total wreck.

The three who were most seriously hurt were Sidney Friedham, Walter Rawlinson and A.C. Gerger. W.L. Steele, who was driving the car, was also injured but he was able to leave the hospital today as was Alonzo Friedham, the other occupant.
