James Victor Query of Charlotte Accepted at Annapolis Naval Academy, 1921

Annapolis Accepts High School Boy

James Victor Query, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Query, 1519 East Fourth street, was accepted at the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis on certificate of the Charlotte high school without examination. This was the first time such a thing had ever been done. He will report June 28. In the opinion of H.P. Harding, superintendent of schools, this action means that the course of study hereto is deemed of high standing.
