An 80-gallon still of pure copper was captured by Sheriff N.H. McGeachy and two deputies on the Little River Monday afternoon. The still was charged and everything was in readiness for a “run” but no operators were present when the officers reached the still. The still, cap and worm, all of copper, were secured and brought to town. A dozen barrels of beer were poured out.
