Mrs. N.B. Josey returned yesterday from Ridgecrest, accompanied by Mr. Chas. Josey.
Mrs. J.D. Midyette and sister, Miss Vilma Howland, returned yesterday from a visit to their grandparents at Zebulon, N.C.
Mrs. Mamie R. Thigpen, who has been visiting her son, Dr. H.G. Thigpen, returned today to her home at Franklin, Va.
Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Lawrence and little Billy left this morning for the hospital at Rocky Mount where they have taken the latter for consultation. Dr. O.F. Smith accompanied them.
Mr. C.F. Burroughs left this morning for a business trip to Richmond.
Mrs. S.L. Strickland of Greensboro is here on a visit to relatives and friends.
Miss Annie Milton Norman of Greensboro is here on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Strickland Jr.
Mr. William E. Bellamy, who was operated on a few weeks ago at the Tarboro hospital for appendicitis, is expected home today.
Mr. McClintock of the O.B. McClintock Co., is in town adjusting the well known time piece of the Scotland Neck Bank.
Mrs. Frank Shields, Misses Mary and Katherine Shields, Mrs. Will Whitehead, Miss Mary Tillery and Mr. Macon Hoggard left this morning by car for Winston-Salem to visit friends and relatives.
Mesdames S.B. Kitchin, Gavin Hyman and Spooner Dun went to Tarboro yesterday to see Mrs. Hinton Dunn, in the hospital there, and report that her condition is continually improving. [Last name spelled Dun on first reference and Dunn on second in the newspaper.]
