Four Freight Cars Wrecked Near E.A. Kemp's Home, Dec. 9, 1921

Train Wrecked

Owing to the spreading of the rails, the Louisburg trained wrecked four freight cars near Mr. E.A. Kemp’s home yesterday morning on its first trip from Franklinton to Louisburg. The accident came near being serious as the train was pulling two passenger coaches. The engine passed over all right and the train was stopped before the passenger coaches reached the point of danger. No one was hurt. Necessary traffic was delayed for several hours.
