Funeral for Luta Mercer, 26, Will Be Held Dec. 4, 1921

Mrs. Luta A. Mercer, wife of Mr. J.C. Mercer, who conducts a plumbing establishment here, died at an early hour this morning at a local hospital. Mrs. Mercer was 26 years of age. She is survived by her husband and one child, her mother, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Mercer home on north Tarboro street by Rev. F.S. Love. Burial will take place at Maplewood cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Messrs. G.W. Crisp, Edwin Bishop, J.E. Alphan, J.N. Pierce, C.E. Blount and J.M. Daniel.
