He’s a Brand New Comer

CHAS. HOWARD GRADY

C. Howard Grady is the newest acquisition of the Elizabeth City bar coming to Elizabeth City from Clayton N.C., to engage in partnership here with C.R. Pugh. The firm name is Grady & Pugh. Mr. Grady is a youngster in years, being only 22 years old, but what he lacks in age he makes up in size and dignity. He is a big, healthy, likeable chap. Howard Grady is a son of Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Grady of Kenly, Johnston County. He was educated at the University of Virginia and Wake Forest College, receiving his law license from the Supreme Court of this state in February, 1921. He left his home in Kenly to engage in the practice of law in Clayton and had been practicing there just a year when he met and formed a partnership with Mr. Pugh. Photo by Zoeller.
