Flu Is Going Around, But Rowan County Schools Will Remain Open, March 6, 1922

Rowan Schools Not to Close for “Flu”

Salisbury, March 4—The Rowan County Board of Health has decided that the influenza situation in this county does not warrant the closing of the public schools, according to a statement of Dr. W.C. Armstrong, Health Officer. The disease is prevalent throughout the county but not in a serious form while there is still less in the towns of Salisbury and Spencer.
