SAMUEL LLOYD SHEEP
Prof. S.L. Sheep, who has just been re-elected to succeed himself for another years a Superintendent of the Elizabeth City Graded Schools, has taught school so long that he could never be at home anywhere except in a school room. Prof. Sheep came to Elizabeth City in 1878. He was only 20 years old and a school teacher then. He has been identified with the educational progress of the city ever since. There must be right much in the suggestion that the way to keep young is to keep the company of young folks. Few would guess that Prof. Sheep is 54 yeas old. Photo by Zoeller.
