'High' Times Predicted at Capt. Cox' Dancing Pavilion and Bath House, May 12, 1922

Look Out for High Old Times Down the River

Capt. W.E. Cox of Elizabeth City is building a dancing pavilion and bath house at Red Banks on the Camden side of Pasquotank River, about four miles from Elizabeth City, just beyond the terminus f the Camden Ferry Road. The new resort is said to be located in the neighborhood of some of the most active stills in Camden County. The new pavilion and bath house will be outside the jurisdiction of the meddlesome city police.
