The Bayside and Berea baseball teams will play ball at Bayside next Saturday, August 12. These teams met in a tie game at Berea last Saturday, and a good game is looked for this week.
Berea and Newland teams are scheduled to play at Newland on Saturday, August 19. In a very good game last Saturday the Berea team won out over the Newland nine. A rather interesting feature of the game was that Marvin and Dan Russell, brothers, pitched and caught respectively for Berea and Shirley Williams pitched and his brother, Hersey Williams, caught for the Newland team.
