Mr. John W. Mabe, who has recently purchased a fine farm in Montgomery county, was here Monday from Peter’s Creek township. Mr. Mabe stated that he would likely remove to Montgomery county in the fall. He purchased 67 acres of land there for $5,000, and he thinks it is good judging from the crops he saw on it a few days since while he was there. Mr. Mabe has not sold his farm here yet and did not know just whether he would sell or not.
