Democrats Win in Haywood County, Nov. 9, 1922

Largest Haywood Vote. . . Grover Davis Solicitor—Clyde Votes Democratic—County Majority 2,500 to 2,700

The election Tuesday gave the county of Haywood the biggest Democratic majority ever received. It was around 2,600.

Grover Davis of this place is elected by more than 2,500.

Clyde, the Republican stronghold, is Democratic by 61 votes, the first time in history.
