Miss Emma Pittman of Whitakers, member of the South Rosemary faculty, and Mr. J.N. Crawley of Aurelian Springs, were quietly married in Emporia, Va., Friday afternoon, December 8.
After the wedding ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Crawley left for Aurelian Springs where they were received by a large number of relatives and friends and an elaborate supper had been prepared.
Mrs. Crawley has made many friends since being in South Rosemary, and the wedding will be of much interest to the people of Halifax County.
