Children to Carol Sunday Evening, Dec. 19, 1922

Here Are Places to Assemble Sunday

With group chairmen and leaders ready for the caroling next Sunday night, the children will be notified in the Record today of their respective groups and the places at which they will assemble. Plans for the Christmas tree also are under way and Captain Edwards of the cavalry expected to go out this afternoon in search of a large cedar.

A list of the places where the carolers will assemble follows:

Ward 1—Mrs. George Baily, chairman.

Group 1 under Miss Pearl Little and Mrs. Hazel Aiken, children will meet at the home of Miss Little and sing on Tenth avenue and in neighborhood of Mr. George Hall’s.

Group 2 under Mrs. W.B. Menzies meet at home of Mrs. Menzies and cover Thirteenth street to railroad and Thirteenth avenue to Thirteenth street.

Group 3 under Mrs. J.L. Murphy and Mrs. Rusk Henry will meet at the home of Mrs. Henry and cover Fifteenth avenue to Twelfth street and Twelfth street to Tenth avenue.

Group 4 under Mrs. C.R. Warlick and Mrs. Geo. Yoder will meet at Reformed church and cover Eleventh avenue to Twelfth street and Thirteenth avenue to Thirteenth street and Twelfth avenue.

Ward 2—Mrs. R.J. Revely, chairman.

Group 1 under Mrs. W.H. Barkley and Mrs. J.R. Tomlinson will meet at the respective homes of the leaders and start from the post office, covering Twelfth street and Ninth avenue to Burns’ store.

Group 2 under Miss Emma Suttlemyer, Miss Pearl Campbell and Miss Julia Hefner will meet at the home of Misses Suttlemyer and Campbell and cover Eleventh, Tenth and Eighth streets to Tenth avenue, also Eighth avenue to Seventh street.

Group 3 under Miss Virginia Allen and Mrs. J.O. Moore will meet at the homes of their leaders and cover the vicinity of the South school, Morell’s store and Kenworth.

Group 4 under Mrs. C.L. Herman will meet at Ennis’ store and cover Chestnut and Highland avenues.

Group 5 under Miss Berthan Deaton—Place of meeting to be announced later. Will cover vicinity of standpipe.

Ward 3—Mrs. Harold Shuford, chairman.

Group 1 under Misses Ola Warner and Ethel Buchelle and Mrs. Noble Shumate will meet at the teacherage, Tenth avenue and cover Fourteenth and Nineteenth streets from Sixth to Tenth avenue, Tenth avenue from Thirteenth to Twentieth street.

Group 2 under Miss Hilda whitener will meet at her home on Tenth avenue and cover Twenty-first and Twenty-second streets and Ninth and Tenth avenues.

Ward 4—Miss Emma Bonner, chairman.

Mrs. H.D. Abernethy, Mrs. C.A. Jordan, Mrs. Clyde V. Price, and Mrs. Connoly Gamble, Misses Olivia Abernethy, Virginia Sellers and Helen Springs, leaders, will meet at First Baptist church. Territory includes Thirteenth to Twenty-second street, Tenth to Fifteenth avenue.
