Eddie Johnston and his dog “Tess” of Norfolk and Chick Chesson of Elizabeth City, who joined the party here Monday, are now on their way to the Pacific Coast on foot. The trip, which is to be completed in 15 months, is to be made south to Florida, west to Texas, then to Lower California, North to San Francisco, and then east to Norfolk, Va. While on the trip the party will distribute advertising matter for chewing gum and tobacco manufacturers.
