Grippe Breaks Out in Goldsboro. . . Mrs. Wilkins of Nursing Committee Makes Appeal for Soup for Afflicted

Goldsboro, Dec. 16—Because of the prevalence of the grippe in the city, Mrs. C.E. Wilkins, chairman of the nursing committee of the Red Cross, is making an appeal for soup and for volunteer nurses. In many of these families, Mrs. Wilkins states, there are three, four, five and six members who are all ill with the grippe and none of them able to cook or do anything for the other members of the family.
