New machinery has been bought by the Lenoir Mirror Company and it will be installed at an early date. Mr. Jones says the increase in business makes it necessary to increase the output of the plant. In the next few months the daily and weekly production of the plant is planned to be increased considerably.
Another local concern is also making improvements. The daily output of Powell Brothers brick yard is to be doubled within another few weeks. Frank D. Powell, manager, has been away during the past few days looking over other brick yards and to buy machinery.
