Maude Royden, 'Foremost Woman Preacher' Spoke to College Girls, March 14, 1923

Greensboro, March 13—Maude Royden, called the “foremost woman preacher of the world,” addressed a big audience of college girls here tonight, the speech being delivered in the Spring Garden Street Methodist Church in order to secure an auditorium large enough to handle the crowds. Her subject was “Can We Set the World in Order?

Miss Royden is an Englishwoman, having done notable work at the famous London City Temple. She is also an authoress of note, two of her most notable works being “Women at the Crossroads” and “Sex and Common Sense.”
