Storr Factory Is Destroyed by Fire

By The Associated Press

Raleigh, N.C., March 3—The office equipment manufacturing plant of H.S. Storr, on the outskirts of Raleigh, was reduced to ashes with a complete loss of building, machinery, stock and finished products this afternoon. The loss is estimated at $80,000, with $30,000 insurance.

The fire, it is stated, started from burning grass in an adjacent lot. Confusion in telephone alarm, delay on the part of the fire department in reaching the scene of the fire together with lack of proper pressure are charged by H.S. Storr, president of the concern, with responsibility for the complete destruction of the plant.
