Asheville, N.C., May 12—Track teams of preparatory and high schools of the western North Carolina athletic conference defeated the University of North Carolina freshmen team here today by a score of 64 to 62.
The University of Tennessee freshman team, scheduled to have entered the meet, failed to put in an appearance.
