Southern Engineer Ends His Own Life

Winston-Salem, June 11—W.A. Zieglar, aged 42, for 22 years an engineer in the employ of the Southern, was found dead in his room in the Jacobs building here at 9 o’clock Friday.

He was lying on the bed with a .22 calibre pistol in his right hand. The coroner’s jury rendered a verdict to the effect that Ziegler came to his death by a pistol shot fired by his own hand. He was unmarried and a brother-in-law of Capt. E.S. Holden, passenger conductor on this division of the Southern. No cause is given for the act.
