It is a singular occurrence to have as many as two funerals in one family the same day, and yet this occurred yesterday when the little daughter of elder S.B. Denny of Wilson was buried here, and at almost identically the same hour, his brother’s wife, Mrs. O.J. Denny of Winston-Salem was buried in that city.
Like his brother here, Elder O.B. Denny is an able Primitive Baptist minister, and his wife a most excellent Christian lady, also a member of the Primitive Baptist church.
The funeral was conducted by Dr. Hall yesterday afternoon.
