Henry Clay Election Held for Second Term

Officers for the second administration of the Henry Clay literary society were elected Friday evening as follows: president, John Webb Cannon, Guilford College; (vice-president), Frank Crutchfield, Guilford College; secretary, Harvey Dinkins, East Bend; assistant secretary, Frank Casey, Goldsboro; chaplain, James Barbee, Lexington; censor, Bascom Shore, East Bend; sergeant-at-arms, Raymond Thomas, King.
