Mackeys, N.C., Nov. 4—Dr. A.H. Dissoway of Columbia, who was found suffering from gunshot wounds in both is hips in a farmhouse near Columbia early Saturday morning, died last night a few hours after reaching a Washington hospital. Ralph Collins has been arrested, charged with shooting the physician.
Dr. Dissoway and a party of friends had been hunting and stopped at the farm house to spend Friday night. During the night two men are alleged to have entered his room, one of them emptying the contents of a double barrel shot gun into the physician. The authorities say the physician and one of the two men engaged in an argument Friday night.
Dr. Dissoway’s body was taken on this afternoon to New Bern, where the funeral will take place tomorrow.
