Personal Briefs

Mrs. Nettie Harris has been spending a few days with relatives in Yanceyville.

Willie Murphy of Colorado Springs, Colo., is visiting friends and relatives in Reidsville.

Mrs. P.D. Watt has returned from a Richmond hospital where she underwent an operation some weeks ago.

W.M. Monsees and family have removed from Wilson to Reidsville, and are now living in North Reidsville.

W.M. Settle of Rawlings, Va., a former resident of this county, is visiting friends in this section for a few days.

Dr. and Mrs. J.W. McGehee are in Washington where the former is attending a meeting of Southern Railway Surgeons.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nissen, Mrs. Lucy Wray and Mrs. Anna Womack of Winston-Salem spent Sunday here with relatives.

Miss Lela Johnson of Elon College spent the week-end with her parents on Lindsay street. Miss Johnson had as her guest Miss Mable Wright of Asheboro.

Mrs. H.C. Harris has gone to Charlottesville, Va., to see her daughter, Miss Annie Harris, who is taking a course in nursing there. Miss Harris is quite sick.

P.W. Gwynn and three sons, Robert from Havana, Cuba, Minor and P.H. Gwynn Jr. from Reidsville, left Friday afternoon by motor car for Richmond on a business trip. While there they took in the V.M.I.-Carolina football game. They were the guests of the State and City Bank and Trust Co. of Richmond while there.
