A petition in bankruptcy has been filed in Federal Court by Mark Sawyer, South Road street grocer, and he has been duly adjudged a bankrupt by W.A. Worth, referee. The first meeting of the creditors will be held in the office of the referee on December 18, at which time a trustee will be appointed. Mr. Sawyer’s place of business was closed on December 3.
