M.J. McGhee Sings Happy Song As Sells 568 Pounds of Tobacco, March 4, 1924

Some Good Tobacco. . . And More to Come, Says Mr. McGhee

It does appear that Prof. M.J. McGhee, the melodious singing master of Fishing Creek, can work and sing the livelong day. He brought to the Farmers Warehouse last Friday 568 pounds of tobacco, for which he received a clear check for $157.61. He stated that this was not his first or last load of the season.
