Tax Collector Is Ill at His Home

J.R. Patton, city tax collector, is ill at his home with an attack of influenza. Mr. Patton became ill on Saturday, a week ago. Some improvement has been noted in his condition. L.V. Byrd, assistant tax collector, is in charge of the office at the city hall during Mr. Patton’s illness.
