Boxing Bouts Tomorrow

The University’s first real boxing match will take place tomorrow (Friday) night in the Tin Can, the students’ opponents being soldiers from Camp Bragg. The “big bout” of the evening will be the encounter between A.E. Warren of Blount’s Creek representing the University, and private Cliff Mallard of Camp Bragg. This set-to will last six rounds. Students appearing in three-round bouts will be Mike Hall of Wilmington, D.V. gray of New Bern, C.G. Smith of Elmhurst, N.Y., C.V. Jones of Elizabeth City, and Ray Quinn of Wilson. Kid Numbers and Danny Lee, both of Fort Bragg, will meet in a special exhibition.
